Local Inclusion Network Collaboratives (LINCs)
In order to help communities move toward greater inclusion, TCSIP facilitates Service Inclusion Networks, also called LINCs. These regional networks link local volunteer programs with disability partner organizations. As a team, the networks develop strategies to recruit, retain and celebrate people with disabilities in volunteer positions. Currently, there are fours LINCs operating in California, in Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, and the Inland Empire. There are three LINCs active in Florida in Miami-Dade, Broward and Pensacola. There are three LINCs operating in Hawai’i in Maui, the Big Island, and O’ahu.

To join an existing network or to start one in your community contact Karen Leventhal, Project Director, kleventhal@mednet.ucla.edu or 310-825-0067

There are also service inclusion networks operating in the Bay Area and Far North California. To find out more, contact our sister program, Barbara Wheeler, USC University Affiliated Program, bwheeler@chla.usc.edu or 323.671.3829
